The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana Covington Unit is moving to a new facility located at 919 North Columbia Street in downtown Covington this summer. The building is a familiar face in the community as it served as the home of Habitat for Humanity’s Home Store for nearly 25 years. Local volunteers are restoring and rebuilding the former Habitat building in order to provide the children of our community with hope, opportunity and a safe place to learn and grow for many years to come.

Boys & Girls Clubs give young people structure and stability. Active membership impacts a young person’s academic performance, character and future success.  The Club currently offers limited programs while operating out of two school classrooms. With a new facility, the Covington Unit will provide more children the opportunity to benefit from Club membership.

Numerous individuals and businesses volunteer time and resources to make the dream of a new Clubhouse a reality for kids in our great community. We need you to join the efforts of generous area partners as we invest in the future of our youth.

In order to reach our goal of opening the doors of our new Club home, we need to raise $100,000 in renovation and operational funds. Help make an impact in the lives of hundreds of youth in Covington by making a contribution today.
